Tauil & Chequer Advogados advises Montes Rodovias Nordeste on the first debentures issuance, worth R$ 450 million

Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown advised Monte Rodovias Nordeste, direct controlling shareholder of the concessionaires Litoral Norte and Bahia Norte, in the State of Bahia, Rota do Atlântico and Rota dos Coqueiros, in the State of Pernambuco, on its first issuance of debentures. The issuance was carried out through a public offering of debentures, with real guarantee, in a single series, in the amount of R$ 450 million, coordinated by Banco Bradesco BBI.
The net resources raised by the Company will be allocated for the full early redemption of the first issuance debentures of its shareholder, Monte Rodovias S.A., as well as for the reduction of the Company's capital and/or distribution of funds to its shareholder.
The transaction was led by partner Luis Montes and supported by associates Wilson Jung, Beatriz Lavigne and Marcella Castellano, from Banking & Finance.
